Agricultural engineering, a new addition to the ZJC agriculture syllabus, will help students move one step closer to Zimbabwe’s goal of linking theory and practice by providing the technical background necessary to solve the many farm engineering problems encountered by both large and small-scale farmers alike.

Animal Traction in Zimbabwe is the first in a series of booklets suited to the syllabus and written by agriculture teachers. This deals with the most common farm implements in use on small-scale farms. Having the proper understanding of the function, use and maintenance of these implements will help agriculture students to be more self-reliant in the care of farm equipment.
