    Bert Woodhouse is a member of the committee and past chairman of the Witwatersrand Centre of the
    South Africa Archae1ological Society, With Neil Lee he is the co-author of Art on the Rocks of
    Southern Africa. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Museums of Man and Science in Johannesburg. Although an amateur, for the past
    seven years Mr. Woodhouse has made it a personal disc1ip1line to deliver a paper on some
    aspect of rock art to the annual cong1ress of the South African Association for
    the Advancement of Science.
