Profile – The National Archives of Zimbabwe began life in 1935 as the Government Archives Office, established by an Act of Parliament and run for its first 23 years by chief archivist Vyvian William Hiller from two small rooms, later a 9,000-square-foot basement in Salisbury’s Milton Building.
